This area contains the newest version (dated 16 Feb 2010, v12.00.1, latest public release) of server software for the EX Series (this replaces the previous 12.00.0 Server release). Although similar to the 11.11.0 and 12.00.0 releases, this latest version includes several new functions, and changes to the underlying plug-in architecture, including Web Client functions (a new ActiveX control will need to be installed).
The 12.00.1 version now has an optional add-on that offers limited support to browsers other than Internet Explorer, including iPhone/iPod and Blackberry. See your Eagle Eye dealer to inquire about obtaining this add-on. Additionally, a Microsoft issued plug-in for systems running WindowsXP has also be included. This patch MUST be installed BEFORE the server software in order to ensure funtionality. As this is a Microsoft release, Eagle Eye DVR cannot directlu support or troubleshoot this patch.
NOTE: While the video database structure remains and does not need to be removed (if upgrading from 11.10.2 or later software), custom settings should be noted, and all custom POS, WEB, and/or PTZ profiles should be archived MANUALLY, as any custom files WILL be deleted when the 12.00.1 is installed.
Systems using v11.05.4 or earlier software should consider deleting their video database files prior to installing this new version.*
With the EXCEPTION of the EX-SR 32-240 model, this software has been tentatively approved for ALL EX Series products; software for the EX-SR 32-240 is available in the EX ARCHIVES section.
Please note: IP Camera Support and TOBEE3 Text-to-Video functions still require add-on software, available through your regional Eagle Eye DVR Dealer. Additionally, IP Camera functions do not work with CL models when set in "live" mode (but, work fine when in "capture" mode).
*For systems moving from version 5.xx software, wiping the video database prior to upgrading is manditory.

All files are archived in a self-extracting EXE format, or are in ZIP format, which requires WinZip (or similar software) to open. You can obtain the program by clicking on the WINZIP graphic.
To save a file to your hard drive, click on a link and a license agreement text will appear (you may need to disable any pop-up blockers). If you agree to the terms, click the "Accept" button to proceed to a dialog box asking you permission to save the file to disk.
